Colorado Hunting

The Colorado Silver Spur Ranches are located in the North Park area of Colorado near the town of Walden. They are bordered on the west by the Zirkel Wilderness Area and on the east by the Colorado State Forest. 

This 64,382 deeded acre ranch includes the Canadian, Michigan, North Fork and North Platte Rivers. Habitats consist of willow covered river bottoms, native hay fields, rolling sagebrush hills, hogbacks and deep draws with open aspen pockets and dark timber, all with good access.  The most unique aspect of the Walden ranches is that hunting elevations range from 8,100 feet to 9,000 feet. In Colorado, Ranching for Wildlife tags are guaranteed for moose, elk, mule deer, and pronghorn antelope.
